Stories for Social Situations
Our series of social stories have been developed to help teachers/teaching assistants cover specific situations that their pupil would experience within the classroom and everyday life at school.
Each story uses the same format as the other stories in the ‘ASD Social Story’ range. This helps the child become familiar with the routine of the exercise.
The opening page of each story features a clear list of instructions for the teacher outlining what action is necessary to complete each story.
There is an area outlined where a relative photo can be placed of the child carrying out the particular task mentioned, and a space to right in the relevant names i.e. the child’s name.
The social stories are very easy to use yet very effective for teaching the correct social skills.
